8 May 2023 - Just finishing a Fox Hunt Offset Attenuator from 3rd Planet Solar. I also have a QPRGuys Digital AFP-FSK Transceiver III kit on deck to build. Fun!

COVID Project - Bult my own HEXBEAM antenna and love it! I have HRU class slides the HRU tab.

29 December 2020 - I've been working on learning Morse Code. December 2020 QST magazine has a fun arduino build for practicing with a straight key.

Found out that my settings for WSJT-X and my ICOM 7300 were limiting my power to 30% of 30 watts. Made the appropriate adjustments and I am now able to send out a full 100W if needed.

30 August 2019 - Made a whole bunch of FT8 contacts tonight on 40M. Tripled the number of my Worked All States. I'm now up to 15.

30 August 2019 - I got the micro HDMI adapters and set up the Raspberry Pi 4. Installed TeamViewer, WSJT-X and fldigi. Everything worked right out of the box except for TeamViewer. I couldn't connect to the desktop. I had to run raspi-config | 7 Advanced Options | A5 Resolution and change the default resolution from the default (720x480) to DMT Mode 51 (1600x1200). Then I was able to remote in with TeamViewer. I looks like this will be a good solution for remote operation.

28 August 2019 - I got my Pi4 last night and put it together (case, heatsinks, etc) only to find out that instead of mini HDMI it uses micro HDMI. I ordered a two-pack of HDMI micro HDMI to HDMI adapters.

27 August 2019 - I am currently working on a remote control project using a raspberry pi 4 (4 Gb). I will keep you posted on my progress.
